This week in Nursery we have been reading the book ‘Knuffle Bunny’ with a focus on positional language. The children enjoyed discussing the little girl's journey with her dad and talking about how the characters are feeling. During the carpet sessions, the children have been discussing their journey to school, by sharing photos and looking at local maps. We have been thinking about what we see in our local environment, including shops and parks, and discussed how we travel to school. On Thursday we went out in small groups to walk around the school site. The children had an opportunity to take photos of different parts of the school which we used to create our own photo school map.  

Throughout the week, we have started to practice for the Christmas nativity. The children have enjoyed singing all the festive songs and saying their lines. Please check Tapestry to check the links for our nativity songs to practise at home.
