The children have been enjoying the wet weather and enormous puddles that are created in our outdoor area. The children are becoming more independent to remember what appropriate clothing they need to play in the puddles.

After the teachers have modelled how to extend their play in puddles, the children are starting to use a variety of resources around the environment to use the puddles in different ways. From just jumping to now to make bigger splashes in the water by walking across a bridge of crates and then into the puddle and transporting the water across the different sized cascades.
