We have been very busy this week, extending on our knowledge about Africa. The children have been learning about the animals and fruits that grow and live in Africa. We have been learning about continents and countries and where Africa is in relation to England.

The children particularly enjoyed learning a song about all the countries in Africa.

This week we have looked at the book 'We are going on a lion hunt' and compared it with a book the children are familiar with 'We are going on a bear hunt'. The children enjoyed the teachers telling the stories using the drum. The children have been learning some African folk songs with body percussion.
