This week in our maths lessons we have been learning all about triangles and circles. 

The children have been looking around our classroom to see if they could find any circles and triangles and took photos of what they found. We also made shape pictures using the shapes. Here are some of the pictures the children made after looking at some examples. 

We talked about the properties of these shapes and how we know if something is or isn't a triangle or circle. We also looked at almost circles and almost triangles. 

Next week we will be learning all about shapes with four sides.
