In our computing lessons this week, Year 1 have been learning how to use the art programme Sketchbook. In particular, we have been learning how to create a coloured background and then how to build a repeating pattern by stamping different characters and shapes. As part of this programme, we have also been developing our skills with a mouse pad, using this to "drag and drop", move, re-size and rotate our characters. As most of us are more used to touch screen displays, this is an important skill that we are improving!
