In support of our learning in Science and Design Technology, Year 1 this week visited the RHS garden at Wisley. We learned a great deal about the importance of plants in our diet and the different ways in which we use plants for food. We also learned how many different varieties of apple grow at Wisley- there are 10 points on offer if you can guess correctly! The children were excellent ambassadors for our school - numerous comments were overheard from the public about how well-behaved they were - and hopefully will remember this visit for a long time.
