This week the children were amazed at how well their beans had grown. A couple went mouldy, but most grew really well in their little bag with moist tissue paper. The children carefully observed their bean and then drew what they could see, they also compared their bean to others in the class, some had lots of small roots, others had just one big root. Next, the children went outside with an adult and planted their beans, hopefully they will grow strong and tall in our outside environment.
Don't forget to help your child log into the Generation Wild website. Here they can complete lots of exciting nature activities, and if they complete 10 or more they will receive a lovely enamel badge and certificate for their efforts.
