Year 2

Life Cycles

We have been learning about lifecycles in science, including Animals including Humans and Plants.

Back in Spring 2, we started to grow our broad bean plants, first we put them in a zip-lock bag with tissue and water and waited for them to start spouting. After a week or so most of the plants had started to sprout - we had a few go mouldy, but luckily we had some back up beans sprouting. Just before the Easter holidays the beans were transported outside and planted in one of the flower beds. This week we have taken new photos and observed so many more changes. There are now flowers and tiny bean pods forming. The children  are excited to see inside the bean pod.
