Year 2 have been studying the history of aviation this week. They have thoroughly enjoyed learning about British and American Aviators throughout the past 100–120 years. Women and men who broke both boundaries and stereotypes; The Wright Brothers, Amelia Earhart, Bessie Coleman, Amy Johnson and many more. First, the children made predictions based on the photographs, and then they were able to learn facts about each person. We will be learning more about these amazing aviators in the coming weeks. 

Please can we ask for donations of cardboard boxes (shoe boxes, cereal packets, dried food boxes etc)? We also need sandwich bags or plastic bags for our upcoming DT lessons.
