In DT this week, the children thoroughly enjoyed preparing and cooking all the vegetables for their vegetable kebabs. They had a choice of tomatoes, aubergine, courgettes, green and red peppers, red onion and mushrooms.  In English, they will be writing up the instructions for their recipe. Perhaps you could try making them at home!

On Tuesday, we went on a local trip to Kingston Museum. The children enjoyed being the only ones in the museum. They learnt a lot of different facts about the area, and had to hunt for artefacts to add to the town map. Some children even enjoyed a little bit of dressing up. 

We are continuing to learn our dances for the Country Dance Festival and our lyrics for the Kingston Music Service Sing Festival at the Rose Theatre. Please encourage your child/ren to practise the songs at home. They should all have a lyric booklet.
