This week in Year 3, we have kicked off our new science topic looking at rocks. We enjoyed being geologists and investigated different rocks and their properties. It was fun doing the 'scratch test' to determine the hardness of the rocks and using a magnifying glass to see whether the rocks had crystals or not. At the end of the lesson we learnt some fun facts about rocks. Did you know that space rocks can land on earth?
