This week in English, we have been getting ready to write our next piece of writing and to help us prepare we did some acting! We have been reading the story Street Child by Berlie Doherty. The story follows a young boy named Jim Jarvis and his struggles as a young Victorian orphan. We re-enacted when Jim arrived at the workhouse and all the horrible things he had to endure, such as being bathed in icy cold water and having his hair cut off.
