Year 4

Computational Thinking

For our computing unit this term we have been looking at computational thinking. There are four steps to computational thinking: decomposition which is to break a problem into smaller parts, pattern recognition which is to spot patterns that can help us, abstraction means picking out the most important information and algorithms is using the information collected to solve the problem. In today's lesson we had an activity with each of these steps that we had to complete with our partner.
