Year 5

Jane Goodall

We have been learning all about, the scientist and world expert, Jane Goodall. We explored her work with chimpanzees and learnt that through her years of observations, she found that chimpanzees are very similar to humans with their family bonds. Jane found that chimpanzees, in their natural habitats showed behaviours like hugging, kissing and tickling between parents and children. In our work, we created posters to  warn the public about the endangered species as they are at risk of extinction due to poaching, losing their habitats due to deforestation and various illnesses and diseases. We hoped to promote the wellbeing of chimpanzees and save them by educating others about the benefits of these living animals, on our planet.
