Year 5 Newsletter
We have been very busy in our PE lessons so far this term. During our indoor PE lessons, on a Monday, we have been focusing on fitness. We have been finding out about what happens to our bodies when we exercise. We have been looking at different activities we can do to activate a variety of muscle groups as well as build our cardio vascular stamina. We have been completing these in circuits. During our outdoor PE lessons, on a Wednesday, we have been learning the skills to play tag rugby. So far, we have learnt how to side step to avoid being tackled and how to pass laterally. We have played mini games that give us lots of opportunities to practise these new skills.
