Year 5

Art - Tudor portraits

In Art this term we have been learning about proportion. Specifically, the proportion of the human face. We were surprised to learn about where the features of the face are in proportion to each other! We have also been looking at faint and heavy lines and when we would use these in our art work. To show off all we have learned we will produce a portrait of a famous Tudor we have been learning about. Above you can see our first draft. Next week, after identifying how we can make our portraits even better, we will produce our final version of our Tudor style portrait.
