This week we have enjoyed our second workshop led by Victor Odeyemi of Chelsea FC. As part of this, we imagined being bystanders to discrimination and how we would advise those who were being discriminated against to take action. In guided reading, we have analysed extracts from the Book Thief. We have continued to build upon our vocabulary learning words in context such as; hindered, protestations, amiable, affable and aforementioned.
In English, we have researched and have begun to write non-chronological reports on the Battle of Britain. As part of this we have applied our knowledge and understanding of engaging subheadings, titles, fact boxes and bullet points.
