In English this week we have finished reading The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. We have produced our final leaflet ‘A guide to haunting’ to inform new ghosts of the four types of haunting and how to use these. Next, we wrote short letters from the perspective of a ghost to give advice to Bod when he left the graveyard. To plan for our writing, we used drama to immerse ourselves into the character’s perspective. We have also started our new book, The Hunger Games, writing short predictions and beginning to create a character profile for the main characters of; Katniss, Peta, Gale and Effie Trinket. 

In geography, we have begun our new topic of economics and trade. We have explored what trading is, the difference between imports and exports and the importance of exporting and importing goods in the UK.
