In topic, we have continued to explore what life was like in Baghdad in 900 CE. We have learnt all about: the House Of Wisdom, the marketplace, leisure time, school and everyday routines. We then applied our knowledge to create short drama sketches recreating scenarios such as: The House Of Wisdom with scholars reading, writing and choosing books and discussing ideas. Being creative, we then learnt all about geometric patterns based on early Islam and then drew a series of geometric designs.
